JyVis

JyVis is data visualization software which has the following features:

• Visualizations Include Scatter Plot, Table, Heat Map, Parallel Coordinates, and RadViz
• Selection features include: selections linked across visualizations, multiple selections, export single selection as a CSV file.
• Loads Comma Separated Value (CSV) data tables
• Export any visualization to high resolution PNG image
• Sessions can be saved, and replayed later (all events are recorded, and can be played back)
• Customizable color maps and shape maps

The name JyVis comes from the fact that an embedded Jython interpreter is the central element of the session recording and replay framework, and it is VISualization software. Visualizations can be prototyped in Python (Jython) too.

JyVis is a very young project, the only way to run it is to check out the code from CVS and build it yourself. Hopefully an executable will be released soon.
